not for the content-and subject matter alone..
but for how it reminds me that-what the movie conveys is not only all too true-
but epidemically generational a go on..and by some members of my family, they've gone through-though not by my immediate generation the interim.
i currently don't know anyone up close and personal who's gone through such a state of 1st rate child abuse-and i may never..but if i ever ran across a young person who had experienced such-i don't know how i could account for my actions for getting personal with their parent(s)!
(..and most sadly-some of the young people that have gone through such as well- are in our jails from 'snapping' over their incidents long/on-going..)
'critique-the young lady in the lead character-will get a: golden globe nodd for
sure..though so-the role portrayed might well too-earn her an oscar nodd thereafter.. we'll see
