The Power of Creativity

It struck me as funny recently when a friend of mine called me and asked "How's your day" I replied, "I'm having such a lovely day" I was engrossed in doing something that I love, so I didn't notice the thunder, the rain, or hear the tree that was struck and fell in my backyard. Even more, because I was having such a lovely day, news of those things didn't have a negative impact on my psyche.

I think that it is a wonderful privilege and honor to be aware of our individual creative avenues of expression that nurtures us and elevates us to mental, emotional, and spiritual plateaus such that make everything else seem minuscule in contrast. When you find yourself challenged, stressed, bored, overwhelmed. . . create.

One more thing - a word to the wise. If you create as a business - don't rush yourself. Give yourself more than enough time to complete every project you start on. The end result will be a project that you are proud of and that your client will adore.
