How did you find BBWO?
With over 14 years of experience, Chandra Harkins is highly capable of developing innovative public relations concepts and programs that will help your organization achieve its objective of reaching niche markets. Her areas of expertise include Marketing, Public Relations, Professional Writing, Project Management, Program and Concept Design, and Events Planning, She holds a BBA in Marketing Management and an MS in Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Memphis.
Some of her accomplishments include, but are not limited to, working on several promotional events and initiatives with former employer, Clear Channel Communications such as WDIA's 50th Anniversary Banquet, KJMS' One Year Anniversary Celebration, co-producing the commemorative publication, Pacesetters. In addition, she has worked on several other projects such as Grace Girls' Summit during 2004's Sisterhood Showcase hosted by Grace Magazine as well as served on two hosting committees for the Urban Music Forum sponsored by the National Association for Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS)--Memphis Chapter. She also coordinated AutoZone's Vendor Sales Summit for 2006; a company event that draws over 600 company vendors during one full day of general sessions and seminars.
Using compelling concepts and intertwining unique elements for each project, Chandra's goal is to connect small to mid-sized businesses with specific market segments to garner greater exposure and enhanced profit margins while meeting the needs of those under served markets. By establishing a relationship with these markets, these companies can expect a greater return on investment and increase their brand loyalty.
Last, but not least, Chandra is also a writer and media personality known under the pseudonym Chandra Kamaria. Through this avenue, she dedicates herself to cultural education and enrichment. In November 2010, she debuted her first original stageplay, FOUR WOMEN, at the Evergreen Theater in Memphis, TN. The show nearly sold out during each of its three nights of performances. The stage play was produced and directed by Chandra under her production company, Harkins House Productions.
