I am President & CEO of PCOS Challenge, Inc. PCOS Challenge, Inc. is a non-profit organization operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Specifically, the corporation is organized to provide support for women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS).
It is estimated that more than 1 in 10 women are afflicted with PCOS, yet most people are uninformed about it and have no idea that such a condition exists. Women with PCOS experience a combination of symptoms that can lead to other serious conditions such as obesity, heart disease, diabetes, and infertility. In fact, PCOS is the #1 cause of infertility in women. There is no cure for PCOS; therefore it is a life-long condition. The organization’s goal is to provide support resources and inform people about ways to manage PCOS and all the symptoms associated with it.
