After an impressive 5 years in Norfolk, Virginia as an executive assistant for the internationally acclaimed recording company, Oya Xclusive, Carla Thorpe returns back to her native Temple Hills, Maryland to accomplish the next level to the fulfillment of her dreams.
While still an 1 year intern for Oya Xclusive, Carla's talent for writing riveting poetry, incomparable short stories, and reflective commentaries was discovered. This discovery would lead to numerous invitations to write for well renowned publications such as Stylistic News, Xtreme Showcase Magazine, Erbanlyfe Magazine & Brown Gurl Magazine. Not a bad start huh?
More recently, Ms. Thorpe has been expanding her horizons by successfully managing the upcoming spoken word artist Chamber 7 as well as producing his debut CD entitled "Hostile Intentions". In addition to all of these notable accomplishments,
Carla has now started her own consulting firm so that she may assist other aspiring minds to make the dream of having a business a reality.
