For many of us we go to college thinking and dreaming of the great position in a great company where your hard work will be noticed and notable. When you're fresh out of college you're just glad to have that first job. You're so green that you just do what you're told and ask no questions. This is when it seemed promising.

As time go on and you've been in your career 10+ years you know and understand that it's all a game and the winners will be the one's who can play hard instead of the one's who actually work hard. Rather ironic huh? My thoughts exactly. So what does it boil down to? Did you smile and speak at the tone suitable to the managers in the room? Are you assertive, but not too aggressive? Do you speak with too much expression on your face or not enough expression to say you're interested? Will you lie and say what they want to hear and not the truth? Do you nod your head in agreement with a bunch of BS when everybody is looking? The kicker about these things is all about the different personalities you have to deal with on a daily basis and how they percieve you. Their perception could possibly represent for you a broken step in the corporate ladder.

Interesting, the corporate world is. Completely distorted, corrupt, and morally twisted! I know there is more for me. Bottom line is.....I WANT OUT OF CORPORATE.
