Happy New Year!
Everyone here at BBWO.
I would llike to start by saying I commend all of you, For you ambitions and courage. To have operated or ran a business in the last two years. These have been trying times. In this very very tough economy.
Easy... It has not been. But, we are still here, still standing, in spite of the circumstances. Pushing forward. It's been a journey for me. And, I would not change a thing given the opportunity. I've learned a lot in this spand of time. For instance, just because you tell people you have something to sell, doesn't necessarily mean that their going to buy. People have to have an interest in what you are selling. If, your product does not stir up their interest or curosity factor. You are not going to sell very much.
Business is a fasinating instrument, isn't it. It allows you to enter into homes, lives, hearts if, your product happens to be something that captures the masses. I can not speak for all of you. But, let's pledge today, right now. That this year is going to be BIG for us and our businesses, like never before. Don't be discouraged, not now. If not this year, than next year. But don't give up, don't stop, and do not quit. I hope, that each and everyone of you hear what I'am saying today.
Do not take this lightly. GOD
, takes care of those who endure... If I have learned anything in this LIFE, since I decided to start my business. Is that, you only FAIL, when you give up. For all of you in business, QUITTING is not an option. Hold on, be strong minded, and follow that DREAM
.. That dream that GOD
gave you. You remember, when he gave it to you. You saw the preview. That's why you took the chance, the risk to start a buisness of your own. Dont stop now, because it looks unattainable. Martin Luther King
say it best. "How Long, Not Long."
So, what you didnt sell anything all year. Or, Chirstmas sales were a BUST. Here's 2010, you get to do it, all again.
Are you aware that the stores we shop at today. All started out, as small as a mustard seed.. Now their mega businesses. Suppose, they bailed when things got tough. We would not be shopping in stores such as Macy's and Saks Fifth Avenue, Sears, Nordstroms, Walmart. Kmart, to name just a few. In closing, I want to encourage everyone to have a Martin Luther King Sale
, this year prepare for it, and make it spectacular. Get Banners and ads all that good advertising stuff.
Shout it out. Because, if it weren't for HIS DREAM. We may not have had these opportunites today.
P.s. I want you to check your local newspapers. On that wonderful day. Count how many stores title their sales that week with MLK name. Then let's meet back here and discuss it. We as a people owe him this much. Say it LOUD..
I believe if we say it and show it. The other's will follow. It'll catch on. I dare you, to try it.
