What an empowering quote!
Another one of my favorite quotes in this category is by Sharon Williams “It’s never too late to redeem your dreams!!
What is it that you dreamed about when you were a child? What stopped you from moving forward?
This was one of the questions asked of the participants in my Dream Launch Mentoring and Coaching program.
Quite often we allow time to influence what we do in life and once we get past a certain age you may figure that it’s too late so yousettle for what life presents to you. Why is this? Are you influencedby others? Or maybe what society dictates as the normal age to startthinking more sensible and slow down your ambitious endeavors?
There are many who started late in life and then who is to say what the definition for starting late is. Is there a magic number?
I’m sure you’ve heard of Kernel Sanders of Kentucky Fried Chicken and others. Some probably thought he was a little on the crazy side toembark on a dream at his age and yet he did and this franchise is athriving business even now.
What does it take to continue to dream and not just dream but take targeted action?
What about setting another goal and dreaming a new dream?
Well one essential key is to have confidence. Yes, you must have unshakable confidence in your abilities and your gift. There are goingto be naysayers and those who feel you need to do like the rest of themand settle. In order to stay motivated to continue you need confidence.
Faith
In the bible it reads “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

The right mindset
If you have the mindset that you’re not good enough or that you’re not worth it you’re going to definitely reach animpasse as you move forward to not only dream but take targeted action.
Crystal clear vision
Not being crystal clear on your vision is a definite way to sabotage your success and cause you to give up on yourdream or even worse never set a new goal. Your vision will provide youwith a healthy navigation system.
Not only will it provide guidance when setting your goals but will greatly enhance your activity ofwriting your goals and adding action steps.
These are a few things you need to continue to dream and take targeted action.

Brand Makers News The small business resource for urban entrepreneurs named25 urban entrepreneurs to follow on Twitter. I was named 1 of 25 otherentrepreneurs. It was a pleasant surprise and I was in good company.
When I started on Twitter I didn’t get it. People were talking about what they had for breakfast, lunch and dinner and some of the tweetswere a little embarrassing. I couldn’t get with the 140 characterlimit. So, I just set it aside for a few. I soon noticed a trend ofFriday Follow mentions and one of the common denominators of most wasthat it was those who had a great following so I vowed to get morefollowers so I could be included in a Follow Friday mention. Do you have goals for your life and business?
I'm sure you do. Are you achieving any of your goals?
Even when you've set a "good" goal - you can run into some
challenges along the way... namely, motivation. Without motivation,
even the most ambitious person will get sidetracked. Here are the strategies that
will keep you on track to achieving your goals:
Write it down
It's one thing to set a goal and yet another to write it down.
You're making a step towards committing to your goal when
you write it down. I know it seems obvious, however, you'd be
surprised at how many individuals
don't complete this step.
Determine what achieving this goal will do for you
Give life to your goals. Write down what it will mean or what it
will do for you to achieve this goal. Visualize it and write it down.
Place yourself in the moment. This is also a key to manifesting
your goals.
Focus on success.
Being overcome by negative thoughts or "what if" scenarios can spell
disaster, even death, to your goals. When you start out by finding a
million ways why your plans won't work, your energy is getting diverted
to dealing with failure that hasn't even happened!
Instead of funneling your time and resources into negative thoughts and
processes, make the decision that you're not going to entertain any
ideas of failure. If it happens, it happens. You don't have to spend
your precious resources worrying about it now.

Chart your progress.
A great motivation is to create a visual graphic to represent your
progress towards your goal. Think of those thermometers that elementary
schools place outside on a busy road, measuring how close they are to
achieving their fund-raising goal for the new community pool or
library. A similar, physical chart that you can update with progress
will do wonders to keep your attention focused.
When you're doing this step, think outside the box. If you're trying to
spend more time at the gym, why not post a map of the US on your wall,
and draw an inch from one coast to the other for each hour you spend on
the treadmill? Visual reminders are fun ways to keep your goals in the
forefront of your mind.
Don't be afraid to ask for help or turn to an expert for advice.
Some individuals feel guilty about asking for help or admitting that they
need help. Or you may think that you need to do everything on your own.
Nothing could be further from the truth! Alcoholics Anonymous has
sponsors, Michael Phelps has a coach, and Jack Welch had an advisory
board. No one has to be alone in their goal-setting efforts. Trying to
eat healthier? Nutritionists will help you fine-tune your diet. Working
out to get fit? Trainers will help you find the most effective
exercises to achieve your physical goals. Trying to get clear on your
vision, goals and stay focused or maybe even get unstuck? Coaches such
as
myself can assist you in this area.
There are business mentors and coaches who can help you figure out social
media, launch a new information product, create action plans, stay
focused, streamline your finances etc.. You can also find tons of
books, videos, and websites to help you reach your goal, no matter what
your goal happens to be. Don't go it alone. You also need an
accountability partner. Many times this is the missing piece.

Is your mindset holding you back?
Don’t know?
I’m going to share 3 mindsets to avoid.
I’ve been there and have seen all too many times women who are always
Getting better and this is not simply personal development it’s continued activities based on the comparison with others. You should
always avoid this self doubt. It is draining and will sabotage any
endeavor of empowering success. So shake the mindset of “I’m not good
enough.”
2) It’s too late for me. Sure things may not have happened the way you want them to happen, however, as long as you have breath in your body there’s hope. Take inventory of why things are not working. Don’t
be a victim of time. There are many who started in there latter years
and actually realized more in their latter years than their earlier
years. Spend your time discovering new ideals, strategies and
resources. Determine who it is you are here to serve. Develop an
appropriate brand and make sure you have an online visibility plan.
3) Who am I to charge that? Okay this is where I had an incredible shift in my life and business. I kept hearing the limiting belief or
you could say negative chatter and it included “Who am I to charge
that?” If you have determined who you serve, a solution to their
problem and can help them get results, you had better charge for that.
Don’t look at it as what hourly rate you can charge but rather what are
the results that you help them achieve? What’s it worth to them? If you

What keeps you up at night?
Do you struggle with limiting beliefs?
Are you influenced by the thoughts of others about who you are and find that when you start trying to play a bigger game as a womanentrepreneur or make endeavors towards women’s empowerment you shrinkdown to make them feel comfortable?
Maybe you’re experiencing overwhelm and that your life is out of control leaving no time for the things that matter most. Or you workhard to have clients and customers but it seems that it’s not working.
Could you be in your own way and don’t even know it?
Take inventory of how you may be getting in your own way.
How do you do this? One thing that is very important to any endeavor
towards women’s empowerment, personal development etc. is to begin with you.
Take inventory of where you are. Assessments are key in this process.
One is a self discovery assessment. You discover more about yourself and
may uncover self sabotaging behaviors that you weren’t aware of. It is nota negative process, however, it helps you to also discover theuniqueness of you. Doing this assists you in developing a plan for bestpractices to achieve what it is you desire. It also assists inuncovering the blocks.
2. Acknowledge the truth.
You may have already arrived at the a fore-mentioned , however, maybe your challenge is that you are indenial. You cannot correct or change what you don’t acknowledge. Youcannot change what you tolerate.
3. Move past the pain of your past. One area that I’m passionate about is helping women to get unstuck. How long have you been feelinglike you have? How long have you followed the same system with noresults? How long have you been struggling to become confident? Thepain of your past will imprison you.
You wonder why you tend to reach an impasse when trying to reach your goals. There are many reasons for this, however, one is movingpast the pain of your past. Of course there are issues that need to beaddressed and you seek closure, however, do not pitch a tent there.Work through it and move on. In this area it is also critical that youdon’t take on the victim mentality. Everything that comes out of yourmouth is how they did you. You don’t understand. I can’t do thisbecause I’m still hurt because. If you’re going to realize trueprosperity “Spirit, Soul and Body” you’ve got to move on!!!

take the mystery out of attracting your ideal clients.
As a woman entrepreneur you face many challenges and one can be the activity of
keeping clients. Read on for some basic tips on this.
First and fore must you must make a commitment to make time for this activity.
You can’t continue to blame others for your lack of success if you continue to dwell
in the woulda, coulda shoulda zone. Robin Tramble
As Wendy Y Bailey puts it your ideal client is willing, ready and able to pay.
I know that we at times want to serve all whether they can pay or not but if you’re going
to realize the abundant life and raise your game you need money to advance the Kingdom.
Money is a necessity to build your Empire to manifest your dreams.
So unless you’re not at all serious about this
your ideal client is willing, ready and able to pay.
Now, some of you may be having a problem with this and it could be your mindset.
One mindset shift that you need to make is that I’m worth it. What I have to offer
will change their lives and manifest the results they desire and they will pay for results.
One thing that is critical is to know who it is that your message is to.
You might be saying oh that’s easy women. Well, that’s a little too broad.
That may be your target market but now you need to identify your niche.
Is it women in transition from a career to home? Women who have diabetes and
Want to up-level their life by realizing healthy eating habits and sticking to them?
Women who are stuck and don’t know where to go next in their business development

Knowing this will help you attract your ideal client because your marketing language will
speakto them and they will recognize you as the solution to their problem.They will say hey! I need that, she knows what I’m talking about, whatI’m feeling.
How sure are you about your product, service or program? What are the benefits? I’m not
talking about the features. The benefits. Here’s the question they are asking, what does it
do for me? They don’t care about the fact that it’s a great washing machine double capacity etc.
They want to know the benefits “save time” “save money” “you’ll be the envy of your friends” etc.
Knowing who your ideal client is saves you time, saves you money. You won’t waste time advertising
in arenas that your ideal client doesn’t congregate in. Your messages are targeted and instead of
to the masses.
How do you view your self worth? As I was talking to my Women’s Empowerment Inner Circle
Gold Tier group one thing I shared is that your leadership will influence people to follow you.
People follow others when they see a clear sense of purpose.
People will only follow you if they see that you know where you are going. It also stands to
reason that people will follow you if you’re confident and know your self worth. It shows
believe it or not. Your prospect must come to know, know like and trust you
and all of the above plays a role in that.
All of the above and more plays a role in your attracting your ideal client.
