What is an autoresponder?

An autoresponder is a computer program that automatically answers e-mail sent to it.
They can be very simple or quite complex.

Think about when you sign up for a Teleseminar or free offer, you enter your
name and address or other requested information. Most times you can expect an
automatic email with either a confirm link for double opt in or a welcome.
This would be very tedious if you had to do it manually.

Internet Marketing and autoresponders essentially
go hand-in-hand. You simply cannot be effective or as productive with your
internet marketing without an autoresponder.

Autoresponders are used to achieve many of the marketing tasks
that are essential to a successful business that utilizes online
tools.

Internet marketing can be very time consuming.
Whether you do affiliate marketing or market your own products, an autoresponder is a big part of your
marketing arsenal. Autoresponders are used to keep in contact with your past customers, and to develop

Do you dream of starting your own business? Do you know what skills and traits are needed to be a successful entrepreneur?  More importantly, do you think you have what it takes?  This article will touch on 7 of the most important traits of a successful entrepreneur.

1. Self confidence – the successful entrepreneur is noticeably confident.  Self confidence is an extremely important characteristic for the successful entrepreneur.  Before you start your business, you should feel confident in your abilities and trust yourself and your unique set of skills.  When and if the time comes, the successful entrepreneur knows how to summon the drive and determination needed to achieve his dream of starting his own business.  He should be confident enough to tackle adversity and resolve any problems that could interfere with his dream.
2. Risk taker – successful entrepreneurs don’t always play it safe.  They know when to trust their instincts and act on a hunch.  Some of the greatest business ventures in history started from a simple “gut feeling” or “hunch”.  Let’s face it, there’s always the risk of loss or failure, but the successful entrepreneurs is not afraid to take that chance. 
3. Fiscally fit - the successful entrepreneur is careful with his finances.  He understands the value of money and is usually very particular about his expenditures for his business as well as in his personal life.  He may have learned the value of money at an early age; maybe as a teenager who mowed lawns after school or a little boy who took the neighbors trash out every evening.
4. Good Intuition – some entrepreneurs claim to “just know” (hunch) if a product or service is going to be a success.  No, they aren’t psychic, most likely they just really pay attention to what’s going on in the world around them.  They pay attention to the latest trends and are usually active in their industry in some way.
5. Competitive nature – the business world is highly competitive regardless of the industry you’re in.  The successful entrepreneur knows he must be aggressive if he wants to achieve his dream.  He doesn’t feel threatened by his competitors and is always looking for ways to make his business stand out from the crowd.  He’s not afraid to work hard to be successful.
6. Honorable habits – the successful entrepreneur has a good work ethic.  He welcomes suggestions and criticism from his customers or clients and diligently looks for ways to improve his business products and services based on those suggestions. He believes that good work ethic will lead to better business practices, improved business reputation and good standing among industry peers and business associates.
7. Vacation time – the successful entrepreneur recognizes the importance of leisure time.  He knows when it’s time to step back and relax and spend quality time with family and friends.   Taking time away from the hectic business world rejuvenates our mind and body and allows us to better deal with the stresses and strains that inevitably come with having our own business.

There you have it – 7 of the most important traits of a successful entrepreneur. 

Keep in mind that just because you possess some or all of these traits there is never a guarantee that you will be successful.  These are but a few of the ingredients in the recipe for success.  If you do happen to possess these traits, congratulations!  You have a solid foundation to start building your success.

The best way to have an empowering week is to start off Monday with a solid foundation.

This preparation begins with Friday. Set yourself up for an empowering week by closing out your week. Take inventory of what tasks you completed. Add those that you didn't complete to the list for the following week.

Here's an important thing to remember. Do not make your top 10 to do list. Make a top 3 priority list. Among them will be at least one thing that will be cash producing.

Are you ready for an absolutely,empowering week? What are your top 3 to do items for Monday? Add action steps that will allow you to complete them. Avoid checking email first. Focus. Take targeted action. Balance your social media activity. Don't let it consume your day. Allow for a time to step away during the day to avoid overwhelm. Commit your works to the Lord. And so shall your plans succeed. Proverbs 16:3

Want to accelerate your results? Embrace a mindset for success. Whatever happened the week prior is not what you want to focus on. Remember what you focus on expands!

Focus on the results you expect to achieve. Focus on what it will look like when you achieve your desired results. Focus on what it feels like.

Get rid of the negativity. Negative attitudes, negative environment, negative relationships. Of course I’m not suggesting that you get rid of you marriage relationships, however, you can seek out ways to empower your relationships. Are you using Social Media like Twitter and Facebook to build your list? Are you building a list?

One thing you must be doing if you’re going to realize any level of business empowerment is list building.

One of the most important things in an Internet Marketing business is a list of contacts. It’s important for you to build relationshpswith your customers. Your contacts are called subscribers on your listsand they are the most important asset of your business. List buildingincorporates building relationships. Your prospects are encouraged tovisit your website through your marketing efforts. Hopefully they signup to receive your free offer which should be of value to them and youare given an opportunity to build rapport with them and share thesolutions you have with them.

You notice I said you have the opportunity to share your solutions with them. Unless you have the opportunity to build rapport andincrease the know, like and trust factor you will only share yoursolutions and never have the opportunity of actually add them to yourclient/customer community.

One way to build your list is to use Social Media.

Social media includes Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Myspace and it actually includes blogging. There are many other Social sites, however,my focus at this time is on Twitter and Facebook.

If you don’t have an account on Twitter you can go to www.twitter.com and you’ll see a prompt to register and you’ll need tofollow each one. The one thing you need to keep in mind is that thefirst impression is important having said that you need to have aphoto. If you have a business you might opt for a business logo,however, I would suggest that you have at least one account with yourpersonal name and then add another one. The other important thing is tohave a link to your blog or website. I suggest your blog or if you havea free offer (recommended) have a link on your page to direct them toyour free offer. This will also enhance your list building endeavors.You can only use one email per account.

If you don’t have an account on Facebook go to http://www.facebook.com you’ll see a link to register. Follow theprompts. Same thing with regard to your photo. Don’t post every linkunder the sun on your profile. Be intentional and don’t confuse yourfriends.

You need to know the proper etiquette for each site. Twitter is a fast mover. You can actually tweet all day, however, there is a rulewith regard to the ratio. You want to do more original tweets, followedby retweets and then maybe 20% tweets to your own offers, links etc.

Facebook is a little slower. You don’t want to post updates all day and resist posting links to your business for the majority of yourupdates on your profile wall. Your profile is for personal and there isa facebook fanpage that can be used for business.

Now back to the idea of list building. You need to know what your target market is and your goals for Facebook and/or Twitter. Withoutthis you won’t have any real results.

You’ll want to know your Twitter and Facebook strategy.

Then there are followers and friends. How do you add targeted followers on Facebook/ How do you add targeted friends on facebook?

I want you to do something for me right
now. Drop a piece of paper on the floor,
that's right drop it right beside you
on the floor.
Try to pick it up. Did you do it?
What's that in your hand? I said
try to pick it up. No, put it down and
try as hard as you can, I didn't say pick
it up I said try to pick it up. That piece
of paper is not going to get up by itself,
you've got to pick it up, however, you won't
pick it up by continuing to try you have to
simply pick it up.

Believe it or not that's
what many of us are doing with our lives.
We leave ourselves an out by using the ever-popular
words "I'll try." If you really want to go
somewhere you've never been, do something
you've never done and receive something you've
never received, as the previous exercise
demonstrated trying is not enough.

If you want to turbo charge down the
road of success, eliminate those two
words. Did you know it is a subtle form
of procrastination. If you know that you
are unable to honor a request simply say
that. Otherwise let your yes, be yes and
your no….. that's right be no.

Start speaking in the now! Go ahead contact
the college today and tell them "I'm
completing my degree, what steps do I take
to continue with (input name of college or
university). Next time your Father God requests
more time with you, don't reply "Lord, you know
I'm trying." Yes, He does and this is why He
continues to draw you, He's saying, "just do it!"

Prosperity entails more than material things
it is a state of mind. If you're going to realize
prosperity "spirit, soul and body" you must
stop trying and do it NOW. Look at it like
this, imagine Father God listening to the
many prayers that we His children send up
and He hears one special urgent plea from you,
He knows it's been 3 months and you're running
out of time but He simply replies with a sigh…..
Yes, my love I hear you, I'll try to get to you
soon. (smile) Somehow a statement that
includes the word try is not as convincing
as I'll get to you soon.
That's just not good enough is it? Well, don't
settle for any less for yourself.

When's the last time you embraced the word of
God? Stop trying, and just do it! Your life
depends on it.

This book of the law shall not depart out of
thy mouth; but you shall meditate therein day
and night, that thou mayest observe to do
according to all that is written therein:
for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous,
and then thou shalt have good success.
