A Must Have Items When Creating A Spa Basket.

When it comes to the word Spa, what are some words that pop in your mind? I can say for sure pampering, rejuvenating, relaxing, and tranquility are some of the word that comes right off of the top for me. These words are also what women looks for when it come to creating a spa atmosphere and this concept shouldn’t change when it comes to creating a basket either.

You want to make sure that when you are designing a basket that your basket has a nice even flow and that it’s not over crowded with the same items. In other words, you have to make sure your basket has a theme and make sure that your colors are the same as well. You want to make sure the scents are basically the same because you don’t want to mix Lavender and Chocolate in the same basket.

Here are list of items that should always have in your Spa Basket.

You should always have some type of cleaning or washing products. Just choose any one of these products:

· Body wash

· Bubble Bath

· Bath Salt

· Shower Gel

While you’re still in the bath or shower, it’s a good time to exfoliate the skin and you can choose any one or you don’t have to depending on your budget.

· Brown Sugar Scrubs

· Sea Salt Scrubs

· Sugar Scrubs

You want to moisturize and hydrate your skin once you’re out of the shower. You will need to have at least one or two of these pampering items in your basket:

· Body Cream

· Lotion

· Whipped Body Butter

· Body Oil

Also you can add any of these item to your basket as well:

· Hand cream

· Pedicure Cream

· Fragrance oil scent

To complete your basket it’s always a good idea to have at least two or three essential items in your Spa Basket:

· Body Brush

· Eye-mask

· Neck pillow

· Spa slippers

· Plush towel

· Pillar candles

· Potpourri/sachets

· CD of soothing or meditation music

· Chocolates

· Gift certificate for massage or facial

Then collects all your items and put them all in a nice basket filled with plenty of decorative shred lined on the bottom and around your items. You don’t have to use a basket; you can use any decorative boxes, bath caddy, or decorative gift bags.

So no matter what budget you are working with you can create a Spa Basket for any occasion.

10 Ways to Grow Your Business

Growing your business isn’t just a worthy goal; growing your business is a necessity for your business’s survival and your economic well-being. What can you do to get your business beyond the bare sustenance level? 1. Penetrate your existing market

The first thing that comes to mind when thinking of growing your business is getting new customers. The trick is to select the trade shows you participate in carefully, seeking the right match for your product or service.

6. Conquer a niche market

Remember the analogy of the big fish in the small pond? That’s essentially how this strategy for growing your business works. The niche market is the pond; a narrowly defined group of customers. Think of them as a subset whose needs are not being met and concentrate on meeting those unmet needs. A nursery, for instance, might specialize in roses.

7. Contain your costs.

On a lovely Sunday afternoon, it was very quiet as usual, and I felt like there should be some noise in the background. I turned on the TV and QVC was on. If you don’t know what QVC is, it’s one of the largest television/online shopping networks. They feature a large range of products which are presented by very enthusiastic, knowledgeable guests. The item being presented was a simple table, but you would not believe how much they had to talk about for an entire segment about a basic table! I felt inspired to share with you some tips that you can apply directly to your curvy-friendly business to increase sales.* Naturally when you’re selling a product, you like to talk about all the features and bells and whistles that makes your product fabulous. While this is great, you need to tell your prospects about the benefits and WHY to buy…and do so repeatedly. What this does is solidify what your product/service can do for them in a more realistic way. They may not understand all the features, but if you tell them WHY in a way that makes sense, then you will capture their attention and be at the forefront of their memory when they are ready to buy.* Give examples and stories of how to use your product. These are otherwise known as testimonials. However, if you tweak your testimonials a bit so that they tell a story and paints a picture of what the customer will experience once they’ve bought your product, it truly brings your products to life. It’s absolutely amazing how people can use the exact same product in so many different way.* Plug shameless promotion on all the media attention you have received. Even if you were picked up by a local newspaper or quoted on someone else’s blog, publicity is publicity. This helps to increase your visibility and build your credibility which all leads to more sales for your business.* Do not make money the deciding factor for prospects to purchase your products or services. In today’s economy, spending hasn’t stopped completely, it has changed, and everyone is keeping an eye out for the best deals and values for their hard earned dollars. You don’t have to heavily discount your offerings but you can offer easy payments or provide additional value that won’t stretch your business budget too far.* Connect with your audience in a more personal way, people really don’t want to be sold. In your copy, pretend that you’re talking to a friend; how would you share your offerings with them in a way that fosters relationships? Eliminate a lot of “I” and add more “you” in your marketing messages.* Get other people to talk about what you do and what you’re offering. This is a little bit different than a testimonial. Video has been an increasingly popular medium that is being used to connect with others. Develop a strategy that allows you to effectively and efficiently use technology: phones (teleseminars), video (webinars), blogs, email, social media, etc. Go where your target market is and connect with them in ways that captures their attention.* Give your customers an opportunity to talk about why they purchased your product before it arrives in their inbox or mailbox. One of the most fun parts of watching QVC is when they take callers live right after they’ve made the purchase. They’re so excited, they just can’t wait to tell everyone about how great your product/service is and what they plan to do with it. Ask your customers what they’re looking forward to, what do they expect, and see what they say.* Always tell your clients what’s coming up next or give them a sneak peek of what’s to come. We’re naturally curious human beings and if you have something interesting coming down the pipeline, we want to know about. When you wash your hair, does it seem really dry and brittle? Have you ever avoided washing your hair for weeks at a time, some of us for months, because you just knew it was going to take a few days for your hair to come back to life; to soften up or feel moisturized?Well, the reason for the excessive dryness is that washing the hair with certain shampoos strips it of all its moisture because of the "bad ingredients" the majority of shampoos contain. Journey to Beautiful Healthy Hair...AGAIN

Starting Point

I didn’t really make any New Year’s resolutions, but I did set a goal for my hair for this year. I am going on an exciting vacation in July and I want my hair to be at its absolute best. For the first couple of years of my hair journey, I took impeccable care of my hair. I washed, deep conditioned it and twisted it faithfully. I experienced growth OUT OF THIS WORLD. My hair grew longer in two years than it had ever grown during my lifetime. Since I’ve become and entrepreneur and I pretty much working around the clock, I’ve neglected my own hair terribly. I’ve gone from washing it weekly to every other week! Sometimes it gets deep conditioned, sometimes it doesn’t. I use to take time to separate my hair before washing it to avoid the dreadful detangling process, now I just jump in the shower, wash and go!
