Since you’re selling to human beings wouldn’t it be great to know the five secrets that have the greatest influence on your customers? What I’m about to share with you will make you the Guru of Sales in your niche. I’m going to put them in the order of use in the marketing process, but they can overlap or be switched around to fit your situation.

What happens in nature when there is a vacuum? Right. There is an attempt to fill that void, and human nature also follows that law.

1. Filling the void – When someone does a personal favor or gives them something of value for free, this act provides an imbalance in the relationship. This creates a subconscious pressure on the recipient to give back in some way. This is what’s known in marketing as filling the void.

2. Reciprocation – In marketing the word “FREE” has the most response of any word in the English language. That’s why marketers use it over, and over again. Everybody likes something for free, don’t you? Even though “free” means there is no obligation or cost, the recipient does feel obligated. If something of real value is given to the person, an imbalance is created – a void in nature – that needs to be filled. Maybe not immediately, but if that person has gotten great value and use from the gift, there will be a nagging sub-conscious motivation to reciprocate in some manner.

You’ll find that some people just don’t seem to reciprocate, and it could be that they didn’t appreciate the full value of your offer. This is why it’s so important to make sure when you are offering a free gift with a promotion, that your customers are made aware of the full value of what they’re receiving.

What really makes this work in marketing, though, is that you make your “free” offer available when your customer takes action. Now it can be a very small one like filling out a customer card for you (which gives you their name, address, and email address), or accepting your product on a 30-day trial.

3. Getting your customer to like you - Have you heard the phrase, “if a customer knows, likes and trusts you then they’ll buy from you”. Well, you’ve gotten them to know you with your “free” offer, the next step is to get them to “like” you. The quickest way I know to get someone to like you is for you to let them know that you like them (reciprocation, again).

Now, not ALL people are going to “like” you and you’re not going to like all your customers, but if you take this approach you’ve a lot better odds of finding customers.

When you’re writing your ads and marketing letters always write as if they are a personal note to a real, live, breathing friend. Use plain talk as if you’re talking to your best friend, and not “hi-tech techno babble”. Keep it simple!

4. Trust – I don’t know about you, but when I hear someone say “TRUST ME” it reminds me of a snake oil salesman and makes me do anything but trust them. So how do you get your customers to trust you? Take a leadership role with them and tell them what they should do to take action and buy. You must be or present yourself as an “Authority” figure. An expert in your field and the only one they should buy from as proven by the endorsements of your other customers, their friends and neighbors.

If your offer is made in a letter, than include some endorsements from others, mention articles written about you, books, articles, newsletters that you’ve written, etc. It is interesting that most people don’t want to make a decision, and it’s better that you give them an action plan to say “yes”.

5. Scarcity – This is one persuader that really motivates humans to action, and you must create and manage this to your advantage in every offer you make.

People want things that solve their problems or make them feel good about themselves that are of good quality. They want it even more – if the quantity is limited in some way. Remember the law of supply and demand? If the demand for a product is high and the supply is low, then the price that’s charged will be accepted readily be it high or low. (Sounds like buying gas for your car, doesn’t it?)

Even if you create the “perception” that there is a limited quantity available, a limited time frame for availability, or whatever you conceive to use, you’ll find this a catalyst to action for your customer.

Of course, it goes without saying that you always include a guarantee of some kind in your offers. I always like the “no questions asked” type of guarantee for 30, 60, 90 days or even a full year if it fits for you. With this you’re emphasizing your credibility (trust) by saying you’re going to be around for a while. I’ve found that most times there are very few takers to the guarantee policy you offer, and if there is – you don’t want to keep an unhappy customer anyway.

Be sure to include all five of these tips in all of your offers (ads, sales letters, presentations, etc.) and you’ll see dramatic results and an increase in your business.

Empowered Entrepreneurial women are students of life

What separates an Entrepreneurial leader from a follower?

Thereare many characteristics, however, entrepreneurial leaders do not havea mindset that adapts to failure. Things go wrong, of course, butentrepreneurs don’t call them “failures” they call them “glitches, mistakes, bungles, setbacks” – but not failing.

I've often heard it stated that you only fail when you quit or you only fail when you fall and neglect to get up.

An empowered entrepreneurial woman will approach decision-making withthe idea that there’s a strong likelihood that she will be wrong. Thisdoesn’t dissuade them – on the contrary they just do the best they canand worry about handling obstacles as they arise.

Another way oflooking at it is to realize that you will make mistakes, so make themas quickly as you can in order to learn from them. A good leaderdoesn’t view making mistakes as negative or irrevocable, he/she feelsfree to press on and try something new. There is the belief thatsomething useful has been learned, and hopefully not at a high cost.

Since we're going to make mistakes in this life why not make use of them as learning tools and don’t make the same ones twice.

Entrepreneursalso know the value of “intuition”. While you shouldn’t act on theresults of tossing a coin, there is something to be said about your“gut” feeling about the situation. Very often business people become soinvolved with systems and checks-and-balances that they forget aboutthat “gut” instinct they had when they started.

While notstrictly logical, intuition does draw on a combination of experience, knowledge, and analysis as well as a lot of “gut” information you mayhave forgotten that you have.

How do you become a strong leader? One way you become a strong leader in your business is by “practicing”being a leader. It’s not a course you can take at a business college;it’s learned in the school of life as you’re doing business.

Asa leader, you have to set standards and higher standards for your ownbehavior. You must do this because appearances are sometimes moreimportant that facts.

You must also set a commanding presence.
Do you maintain the appearance of leadership? Do you project a confident appearance of a successful entrepreneur?

Presentingyourself as a confident entrepreneur, filled with the excitement ofyour business idea, and a strong leader of your team (whether it’s 1 or10 employees) is what will make you a winner and add untold weight toyour Business Plan. After all, you are your business to that idealclient/customer so you’d better look good and confident.

To protect that faith that your people and your customers have in your organization, always ask yourself these two questions:

Could this be interpreted by anyone in a way that would shake their faith in my leadership?
Could this be misinterpreted and held against me or the company?

Onequality that every empowered entrepreneurial woman must possess is theability to bounce back. Strong leaders know that leadership is alifelong learning experience, and
that they are students of life and when they make a mistake they simply continue to move forward.

Don't waste your time waddling in the mud. When you don't achieve the desired result, get up and try again quickly.

Need motivation, direction and support in raising your game and making mindset
shifts so you can live a golden delicious life?

When it comes to finding the right guys it can be kind of tricky knowing if a guy is going to treat you good or not. I see it this way, you know from the beginning if the relationship is worth perusing or not. Any guy that constantly makes you sad is not worth keeping around; and why as women we do I will never know [I’m guilty of doing so I must admit].

The thing that happens a lot is we fall hard for a guy but he don’t got any “act right” so what’s result in this instead of moving on we try to make it work and in doing so, we are forever in our room all alone, crying, listening to sad music, writing poetry that’s pages are soaked in our tears, and forever wondering what we can do to make him act the way we want him too. BUT WHAT THE F**K FOR, I mean really, if he’s making you cry now because he’s flirting with other girls in front of you, or forever not returning your phone calls, not texting you back for 5hrs at a time; what it is that’s really making you keep him around. Is it because you don’t want to be alone? Or are you just not trying to face the reality that he’s not ready to settle and wants to still be a little player? Whatever it is its clearly not helping your emotions stay in control. What’s the point in living on an emotional rollercoaster because of a male that clearly is not stressing over you, but has all the control when it comes to your happiness?

I find it funny how girls will take the fact that they are crying and upset over some guy that they just met and just charge it to the game; BUT when it comes to making that same guy mad or upset you wana get all worried and be like “I think I made him mad” or “I think I made him jealous” and then are wondering how to fix what you did….. ya, I don’t see the point in that either, if he don’t care that your upset and crying then why are you caring that’s he has his dick in a bundle. If you are able to tell him how you feel and he get mad and try to flip it on you and be like your making him mad, what’s the point and even having the convo with him.

If all women would take a second and STOP giving their “other half’s” excuses for their misbehaviors and just take it for what it is [them fucking up] there would be a lot less moodiness, a lot less tears, a lot less stress, and a whole lot more damn common since. I mean lets be real they can make up their own excuses for why they are acting the way that they are, and they already are but all we are doing is helping it out and pleading their case for them. Ladies stop fighting with yourself and be on your own team for once. TRUST you will see a WHOLE lot of things differently.

Rethinking the homelss person

you know people look down at people that are homeless well do I have a story for you I was not too long homeless live in a homeless shelter. Why you ask well my so called husband count figure out weather he wanted drugs or a wife so I made the choice for him at that time I had no were to go but I had been giving him time to decide 4 years to tell the truth I think thats plenty of time.So I just made it up that I was done so I move 17 miles away and am tring to start my life over.I am a college student and was while being homeless but at that time I obtained a 4.0 GPA.most people would think that whern they see a homeless person that they choose to be three but I wasn't one of those people and I was determained that I wasn't going to stay there for onlong just because I had to come there at that time.Ive move into my own place and still maintain a 4.0 GPA and I wouldn't trade all of the thiongs that I've learned from all of the people that I met there. So the next time that you see a homeless person if you want to judge them please don't becuse you never know what's really going on with them they may just look like that.

Master Life Don't Let It Master You

Master Life Don't Let It Master You
Some people are successful in mastering life, while others permit life to master them.

There is a split in you that is very clear. There is part of you that knows what you should do, and a part of you that does what it feels like doing. Don't let passion drive you, let reason hold the reins.

Once you understand these opposing forces warring within you, with this knowledge of the truth: you no longer remain a slave. A clear understanding of this will make you the master of your life.

Resistance is your thoughts transformed into feelings.
Change the thoughts that create the resistance, and there is no more resistance.

Are you controlled by your thoughts or are you controlling your thoughts? If you do not conquer self, you will be conquered by self.

If you are ruled by your mind you are a king, if by your body, a slave.
Enjoy your Tuesday..please do remember to share with others...Reflection: By La Bella Staff...

Can I Borrow $5

Can I Borrow $5? A woman came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find her 5-year old son waiting for her at the door. SON: 'Mummy, may I ask you a question?' MUM: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the woman. SON: 'Mummy, how much do you make an hour?' MUM: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the woman said angrily. SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?' MUM: 'If you must know, I make $20 an hour.' SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down. SON: "Mummy, may I please borrow $5?" The mother was furious, 'Ifd the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard every day for such childish frivolities.' The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.. The woman sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money? After about an hour or so, the woman had calmed down, and started to think: Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $5 and he really didn't ask for money very often. The woman went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door. 'Are you asleep, son?' She asked. 'No Mummy, I'm awake,' replied the boy. 'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the woman. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $5 you asked for.' The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you Mummy!' he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.. The woman saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his mother. 'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the mother grumbled. 'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied. 'Mummy, I have $20 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.' The mother was crushed. She put her arms around her little son, and she begged for his forgiveness. It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life.. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $20 worth of your time with someone you love. If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. Please don't break this even if you only send it to one person. Thanks

It seems that with the forward of the hour to mark the change in season, there was a flurry of fast forwards for me during the preceding week requiring so much to do and to handle. There were work assignments due; company coming over; personal projects due; learning of the passing of a friend; learning of two tragedies involving young people; a field trip; and a plumbing issue in my kitchen. I was dealing with things against a backdrop of turbulent rain and high winds teasing the continuity of electricity to my house over the weekend. Within 4 days there were so many things due, while I was hit with so much sad news, and trying to navigate the major inconvenience of non-usage of my sink while I await the repair person.

I was not frantic. I kept focused and did what I had to do, while finding breaks in time to relax, be still, contemplate, and sort out what to do next. I literally removed myself to a special space in the house to nurture myself in this way, often, each day.

I can’t say that I was full of joy during these days, but I used the time to contemplate; to trust that all is working out for my good and for those involved; and I just created a way to do light cooking and dishes with minor adjustments while plumbing was not functional in the kitchen.

My contemplation was soothed by beginning the huge task of clearing my basement and getting rid of so many things that are taking up space. Ripping up pieces of paper and tossing them in the garbage bag was therapeutic. The sad events, commitments, flickering lights from the storm, and delays in a repair person coming could easily have created havoc for me, but I used the time to be deliberate in my stillness, moving about in a slow manner, beginning a process of clearing out, and day dreaming as the rain hit the window, and most of all, to meditate and pray.

I was able to complete a major document for one of my organizations; guide someone in need of solace; and complete the field trip with notes needed for tomorrow and I managed to get out of the house for a couple of hours each day of the weekend for me-time.

I see the shift that staying on purpose and knowing that in the chaos, stillness and quiet helps to bring me calm, focus, strength, and effectiveness. Instead of being upset, hyper, irritable, and worried, I was able to be relatively peaceful. It is an ongoing practice.
