A vital part of growing our businesses is staying connected and being aware of what's going on with other Black Business Women online and in the world at large. Take this opportunity (not to pitch a product), but to share what you are doing in your business today.
I'll kick this off. What am I doing today?
After meeting so many wonderful women in Black Media at the Disney event last week (details here), I'm working on a collaboration project that I will be launching on the Social Media Sistas Site (within then next few days). Definitely look out for the new project, it's going to be BIG!

Today, I am working on the marketing for my new Life Coaching Business!!! It's incredible!! You become both a client (so you can experience the product) and a business partner! The product is the first and only of it's kind, yet a way for us as women - especially us POWER women...lol.. to take time to keep ourselves focused!!!

I'm preparing creating new jewelry and preparing my marketing campaign for 2010. I have been jotting down notes for topics I want to discuss on the blogs I'v started. Preparing to take everything online as I need to be free from having to do shows so I can be available and do what I need to for my 11 yearold. She is a very talented artist and an active kid. We have no relatives in Arizona and its a very mobile society here so there is not the willingness to let your child visit that you might have in other areas of the country.

Today I spent time writing articles for my new website. I also did more tutorials on HTML and CSS. I am also taking a look at my website to see how I can spice it up as I want to personalize it more using my new coding skills. In addition, I have been doing market research for 2010 wedding trends. Even though the first website is still new amd being developed I am planning the next site and spent some time today with hubby designing pages. I also passed out business cards and attempted to talk to several strangers about my business in addition to trying to push holiday sales and parties.

I'm launching a full campaign for a new client named Liquid Gold Bars. Quite a cool concept, the owner provides bartender staffing for special events and also custom cocktail catering. Its a phenomenal company, one I'm eager to start supporting. I am agonizing over the copy for their blog, fan page and tweets of which I am scheduling as we speak.
