I'll kick this off. What am I doing today?
After meeting so many wonderful women in Black Media at the Disney event last week (details here), I'm working on a collaboration project that I will be launching on the Social Media Sistas Site (within then next few days). Definitely look out for the new project, it's going to be BIG!

I'm gearing up for another busy week of filling customers' orders, which is always priority one, while executing my Company's retail strategy and marketing plan. Also have some local press to do this coming week. A busy businesswoman's work is never done - maybe I'll find time to sleep sometime next year :).
It's been a busy weekend for me. In between chowing down at Buffalo Wings with the Family, I manged to launch SistaSense Talks, my new series of audio sessions (mp3 downloads) for entrepreneurs about social media, marketing online, and building your brand. What have you been up to? -lh
Busy busy as always .... finally getting to emails I've been avoiding for a few days now. Finishing up web design project for one client and eBook Cover / Banner Design project for another. If I can squeeze in some BBWO updates that would be great too! My work is never done but you know I love this stuff! -lh
I notice that when I am busy working on client projects my blog looks neglected. I have a little down time right now so I am brainstorming and stock piling topics and blog posts. I also did a little networking and hopefully I can get some reading done before I go to bed tonight.

Wow! Reading all of you guys' positive forward motions on your businesses, I feel like the lightweight that I am! LOL I've just filed for my DBA on something that I have yet to make the first moves to do. My business will be geared toward assisting small offices that might need some typing servicing done. It sounds like a little thing, even to me, but I think, with the right planning on my part, that it will do pretty well. I don't know really, but I think so.
My new business (that I haven't done anything with yet) is called La-Shanta's Typing Service. I don't have anything other than that at the moment. I'm really sure that I could use some help in getting this started.
In the midst of all of this finding my peace and rejuvenation from my commitment to my spiritual
authority Father God. This allows me to "Tap into easy." It's so easy to experience overwhelm as savvy woman entepreneurs, however, there is still a choice involved we can choose to learn skills to leverage our time and
commit to accountability measures or choose to yield to everyday distractions thereby increasing the overwhelm.
Oh! Excited about working on my music. My husband and I are recording artists, a musician and songwriter. I plan
to add this to my programs and have already secured the domain "Empowermentsuccessongs.com"
