I know you have heard it time and time again but do not give up. Put one foot in front of the other and say I think I can I think i can take a breathe and move forward. Also take a look at your business are you excited about it? Can people tell this? Have you honestlt sat down and treated yourself as a customer would you buy from yourself? Why or why not and make changes then go out there and get those customers your needing. But first and formost you must turn it all over to God as e is the one who can help you more than we ever could. Now tell me about your businesses as i have never heard of them Please.
So much of running your own business is nothing more than a mental game - a test of how well can you cope with the inevitable stress. I've learned to begin each day acknowledging and anticipating that something unexpected is going to happen. That "something" may be negative or it may be positive but there will, no doubt, be some sort of surprise everyday. Having that mindset prepares me for the day so when that unexpected "something" reveals itself, I'm not surprised or upset about it - I can simply roll with it.

One more mental shift that I find very helpful: "Problems" are not really problems, and "Setbacks" are not really setbacks - they are all simply "Challenges". Inherent in those Challenges are valuable "Opportunities" for us to learn, grow, get stronger, and ultimately be better businesswomen.

Don't let those inevitable challenges distract you from your business strategy or your mission - embrace them. You'll get there, and it will be that much sweeter having weathered the storm :).
Hannahbanana: Here is a big virtual {{{hug}}}. You are getting very encouraging information and you are at the right space to be empowered, uplifted and motivated.

My business is new as well. I do understand the frustrations and dejection. I posted something on a forum regarding a client that I felt was good. I got SLAMMED. It stung a little bit but I took it as useful information.

Remember to BREATH. The money will be there when you need it and when it is suppose to be there. Do not live on what you FEEL because it is just that. A feeling. You will overcome this. Refocus. Breath. Say some positive things to yourself so you can clear the fog and your head.
Take the negative voices out of your head and keep plugging away.

I am certain that the dynamic ladies on this Board will have better advise for you. I look forward to reading it.
Hey, Im Sharnica

I really understand how you feel. I just start my fundraiser for my non-profit business, and the event is paid in full. But I have no support from the board memeber to help with the event. The event is tomorrow and I dont no what to do. I just have to give some of the tickets away and asking for donates at the door.

What type of business you have.Maybe i can help

Maybe we can work together on a few things... Email me at ginakifashion@yahoo.com. Also, I am an event planner. I do my own events and have been in business now going on 2 years, but getting a team of dedicated people is VERY HARD!
