  • Go to http://www.legalzoom.com they do LLC's, Incorporate, this Company do alot of these things for you-if you don't have time to do them yourself-for a cost of course. 

  • I actually did a few videos on understanding the difference of LLC, Sole Proprietorship and corporations. I did want to chime in and add that all the information provided so far is excellent. But keep in mind that choosing an LLC vs a corporation requires much more information than "Which one is the best" as the IRS actually does provide some limitations. It would be great to know what type of business you are looking to start or change entity type. I love the IRS.gov for this b/c it gets right to the horses mouth.

    If you have all the education you need in determining which entity is best for you, you can go right to your Secretary of state and pull up information there and file yourself. I also recommend as an accountant to really think through which entity type is best for you as there are several IRS implications and profit implications that need to be considered. I help and have helped some fellow BBWO members determine the best entity type for you.
