Hello

In my time I have joined and paid for various different business opportunities:

I looked at Amway - didn't join.

Kleeneze - Dielivered catalogues didn't build a team.

Betterware - It was free but customers messed you about.

Utilty Warehouse - Have a group - 144 -

Mary Kay - Good - 40% commission had a team of two.

Joined - Ardyss - Did not like product or service - Or steps to success.

  • I think that it is more or less about the individual and what one makes of the opportunity.

Yes, many MLM companies do tend to hype up the opportunity - or rather many reps for MLM companies tend to do this which is part of what has given such companies a bad rep for many years. The bottom line - with all of the companies that you referenced above and for all other such companies -one will only get out of it what is put into it!

You can definitely make big money if you put in big work - on a continuous and consistent basis. It's about building teams in these business, not so much about pushing the products!

Reveiw this link for more on what to expect from MLM opportunities - http://provenprofitpotential.blogspot.com/2010/09/mlm-get-big-profi...

    • I've been involved in direct sales for over 8 years (one of the companies mentioned above) and agree with V., it is up to the individual to make it work. I believe that if you operate with integrity and realize the company provides the opportunity and you are responsible for making your business work, you can be successful.

Direct sales is NOT for everyone, many people fall for the hype that products sell themselves. Unfortunately, you run across a few representatives of these companies that run their business in a manner that is not consistent with the ethics of the company and leave a bad taste in the mouths of some.
