I need some help! I am researching the market to see what credit card processing companies you all use

for your business and why?

And, for those of you who may not have a Merchant Service Provider, why not?

I use the Online Virtual Terminal by Quickbooks...its affordable and very easy to use. I don't process a lot of credit card payments so I chose their services. Here is the link: http://payments.intuit.com/products/online-credit-card-processing.jsp

I do love Paypal. I just heard of outright.com which can be linked to your PayPal. And, one of my customers just told me about squareup.com which allows you to take cc thru your iphone or ipad. I haven't gotten the gizmo yet, but I can see how this would be beneficial to my biz: Free Spirit Accessories because I also take advantage of vendor opportunities. Just thought I'd share.
