Celebrating Caregivers!
Join Us - Solutions Health & Wellness Center and Solutions Cancer Resource Center work together to show our appreciation to Caregivers. We have the Caregiver Baskets which we give to those who are taking care of their family, friend, loved one or simply volunteering their time to help those who are ill or unable to take care of themselves. We are reaching out to others who may be interested in participating with us on making this a very special day for the Caregivers.
We are taking a day and making it our First Caregivers Day! ( tentative - 09/27/2008 - New York)
Caregivers are an essential part of the health care provider and wellness team.
* Care givers are those who give their time, love and attention to those who are ill or unable to take care of themselves.
* They work tirelessly to ensure that they bring comfort, care and support to meet the needs of others.
* They often put their own needs aside – making every effort to focus on the person who is receiving their care.
We would love to have you on board with the rest of the health care agencies that have signed on to be a part of this special day. Let us know if you would like to be a part of the planning team as we work to make this a spectacular day for Caregivers. If you are unable to participate - we will still share the progress/plans so that you may share it once we have finalized our plans with the caregivers.
