Most Popular Black Sites Online

When your business is largely internet based, you have to know what types of websites your target audience is into. As someone who focuses mainly on black web content, I always want to know who's who in the black website circle because this information helps me:
  1. Compare my site traffic to these pages
  2. Understand the content / keywords that are most appealing to a Black audience
  3. Assess who my competitors are
  4. Design a marketing strategy that appeals to my niche
One of the most important things I've learned in doing this research is that the sites I frequent and generally advertise on have the same or lower traffic rates as I, so in order to reach more people, I have to reach more sites with larger traffic. As an online entrepreneur you really have to understand these concepts because creating a successful website is not just about design. You have to know what your customers are looking for if you want to bring them in and generate ongoing traffic to your site. That being said, with the help of quantcast, an internet rating site, I have put together a listing of some of the most popular black websites online. Quantast lets you know how many unique hits these sites generate on a monthly basis, as well as provide detailed user and keyword information. What's great about putting this list together is it allows you to look at sites similar to yours, find out what is working for them and figure out how you can make those things work for you. Please keep in mind that I did not put this list in any order and I am not implying these are the only great black sites online. Here are the monthly unique hits of a few of the sites I checked:

According to quantcast, these are rough estimates, but they certainly are useful ones.
