  • Establishing neosoul.essentials wasn't a planned decision per se. I kind of fell into the bath business due to creating products for my daughter and family. Once the decision was made, however, I made it my business to read and study. I bought books, read online and participated in message boards. There's a wealth of information out there - you just have to find it!

All that being said, I'm learning on the job, day by day. No formal business training here!

  • When I decided that I wanted to go into Wedding Planning I did take a online course which was really helpful. And for my business plan, I joined a local organization that assisted me in putting it together and Im so glad that I did cause putting together a business plan....whew!
    • I guess I could say I had formal computer training as I do have a degree in computer science, but all my business skills have come from experience. I definitely think that it pays to take courses like you did, to avoid having to make rookie mistakes. But if your short on cash, experience is the cheapest way to learn!
