Greetings Family,
(Contact Information At Bottom Of Page)
It's your friendly neighborhood "Digital Drummer" again (smile)
I've been totally distracted by the thousands of congratulatory emails, posts, and phone calls from you, my readers and supporters. Thank you all so much...I truly appreciate each and every one.
Usually, I post up some info on scholarships and other educational opportunities about once a week. Lately, I've been focused more on technology. My thing is primarily business info, but I always try to fill the plate with more then just meat and potatoes (smile)
The easiest and most direct way to learn about scholarships is go to the source. Remember, all I do is beat on this Digital Drum, passing information from one group to another. One of my best sources is www.blackstudents.com, another Black owned website is www.blackexcel.org.
Lastly if your looking for an online community focused on educational opportunities, check out the BDPA's (www.bdpa.org) Yahoogroups, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BDPA-Educators/ and http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BDPA-Students/
I hope this info helps. Feel free to pass it on to those that you feel might be in need of financial support or looking for positive activities for their kids this summer.
Remember, We Must Share The Knowledge (Network)...To Share The Dollars!!!
Peace and Gods Blessings,
Jim Neusom

ACE (Aviation Career Education) Camps

Send your Black Youth to the Aviation Camp
This summer the Organization of Black Airline Pilots - OBAP (see http://www.obap.org) will hold 2 Aviation Career Education Camps sponsored by Delta Air Lines.
The purpose of each one-week program is to introduce interested youth to the world of aviation by exposing them to the many challenging careers and opportunities which the aviation industry has to offer.
This is a program that I've been involved in for several years and I'm extremely passionate about it and what is does for our children. Please take the time to read the brochure/application (see http://www.acecamps.org) and pass it along to anyone that you know who may be interested.
The age range is for boys and girls between 14-18 years old. The best part of the camp other than the exposure is that it is FREE!!!! Delta Air Lines pays the entire cost.
Thanks for spreading the word,
Michael Gaillard, Delta Air Lines

The National Achievement Scholarship Program is an academic competition established in 1964 to provide recognition for outstanding Black American high school students.
Black students may enter both the National Achievement Program and the National Merit Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) and meeting other published requirements for participation.
The two annual programs are conducted concurrently but operated and funded separately. A student's standing is determined independently in each program. Black American students can qualify for recognition and be honored as Scholars in both the National Merit Program and the National Achievement Program, but can receive only one monetary award from NMSC.
