Has anyone ever thought that one particular man was the right one. He makes you smile at first, makes you laugh, and even cooks you dinner. Then Wham!!! he starts to change and by now, your heart is already involved and you are knee deep in feelings and emotions. The disrepect comes into play, the secret late night phone calls, there is barely any stimulating conversation, and you feel very undeserved. How do you move past the hurt to open up again to the opposite sex?

  • Allow yourself to grieve! No matter how he treated you, your heart still remembers the good things and you have to allow yourself to morn those things, but always keep the reality of the bad ones in the forefront so you don't go backwards. And there is no timetable on how long it takes to get over a failed relationship, give yourself time.
  • Slash tires... burn clothes.... tie the sheets down real tight then take a bat to him!!! OKAY!! I'm joking... but like Beverly said, you gotta laugh out loud. Love hurts.... it sucks, but that's the truth. After I finish crying (because crying is cleasing to the soul...) I turn that HURT into positive energy. After all the best revenge is living well. The hardest thing to do is walk away, the easiest thing to do is FORGIVE and LET IT GO!!!!! Bottom line is YOU are a queen and you deserve the best... and you can't have what GOD has for you... if there's something or someone blocking!!! Test of faith... being patient...and knowing that even though the relationships are hard... you can't carry the baggage of the bad one to the next one. Now...when the next fool starts to cut up...then go to my first sentence then call me up and we'll have a drink over the phone!!! (wink wink)
No really.....Trust in GOD... He already knows what's for you...and what's not.
  • Hey Lady,
First of all hang tough. Don't forget to laugh out loud, love is like this, remember to Forgive yourself and Forgive the one who, YOU allowed to come into your Heart. It's not easy, but You are the only one that can do it. I've been there and back again.
Always know that God and You are traveling in the same direction if you let Him guide your steps.

Tomorrow is always a New Beginning.
