Are you flat or always high when prospecting?

Ladies, you have found your business and your ready to prospect anyone you come in contact with. Yet, when you start talking your words fall flat, your facial expressions and body language is off. Way off!! Who do you think your communicating with? If you sound uninterested in your own products or service how do you think the prospect feels? Do you honestly think they are listening to you? First impression is real ladies! Would you buy a product or service from someone who looks questionable and does not have the energy or enthusiasm to explain the damn gidget or gadget they are selling? I don't think so! Here is 4 coaching tips that will allow you to fly high with your prospects and build an enthusiastic business. First, Smile!!. This is so important. If you don't look happy about the product or service believe me it will show on your face. No ones buying it. Secondly, learn as much as possible about the product or service. Practice talking about it in front of the mirror. Practice raising your tone and voice inflections to make your point. Believe me facial gestures works great while talking with prospects. It gives off a natural, personal connection and feel that appears real because it is. Third, prepare a short communication piece and anticipate questions your prospect will ask in order to negate objections. Sometimes, people ask all kinds of questions on purpose just so they can see you get all flustered. Don't play their game. Remain cool, calm and collected. For example, I would tell them, "You have some great questions, I just knew you would be a special person for this product, or service. I am pressed for time right now. Let me connect with you where I will be able to give you my undivided attention; you certainly deserve that. Whats the best time for me to contact you". That undivided attention remark makes them feel special and the truth is they are. Lastly, ladies dress well and smart. I believe when you look good you feel the best. This means to dress conservatively, professionally and classy. Doing so will allow your customers to stay focus on the service or product at hand yet it reaffirms you have great taste in attire. Additionally, ladies your clothing does not have to be super expensive. A great piece of jewelry will accentuate a simple piece of clothing making it look refreshing. You will look amazing in it; simply put one of a kind. To do this I suggest you browse through online catalogs and look for professional attire that is to your liking and then try matching a few pieces that are already in your closet; this way you can put together similar clothing styles without breaking your budget. What's my advice on clothes? A few special pieces where you can mix and match are worth their weight in gold more than a closet full of clothing that looks outdated, non-functional and in disrepair Your customers are astute they can tell the difference between classy and brash. Remember, ladies your business does not have to fall flat. Hit all the high notes by being you because there is no one else like you out there. • Excellent tips here! One of the things that are truly helpful is hearing your OWN voice played back say on a voicemail recording-try it prior to your next live presentation. I use my own voice for my home and cell phone answering service. Sometimes I have to record 2-3 or even more times before I like what I hear! Please listen in and critique me at (347) 821-7661 (Cell) Feel free to leave your comments (good or bad) at the sound of the tone. I really appreciate your help! Also as stated in this discussion-voice inflection-or putting emphasis on the right words is very important. Feel free to create sentences on your own for this and practice them out loud. Ex: I did not say she ate the cake. Stress EACH word, one at a time until you complete the entire sentence. The results you come up with may amaze you! Much success! Diane/NYC. Yes, Zigler is great. I have read many of his writings over and over again. Sometimes, it takes two-three readings for me to get the gist of it all.
