My name is Cissi Sherlock and I am happy to fellowship with my sisters in business. As business women we are as multi-faceted at the rarest diamond. We wear the has of an entrepreneur and a solopreneur - as we do it all. Uniquely we have been referred to as sistapreneurs. I am no different!
I founded a cell phone ministry and community outreach program in Indianapolis, Indiana 6 years ago. My organization, Operation OpenUP Community Outreach Services collects unused cell phones and chargers, reactivates those that fall into a particular category and uses them to work with shelters, transitional housing facilities, services organization and churches in providing activated units to those disenfranchised members of our community who need and open line of communication via a working cell phone in an effort to move forward in life. The those phones that do not fall withing the criteria of reactivation are not cast out. They to, are put to good use.
A national outreach program, with my co-founder in California, is in the works. It should launch some time this year.
My PR company. Visibility .. has a goal of helping businesses get off the ground by providing an array of services that allow the business startup to concentrate on their business while we take care of getting the word out. Our's is a unique services we help them to same money in a effort to make money and we take over their web responsibilities utilizing a concept that no one else has.
