                               **Hello WAHMs!**

I have exciting news! I'm working on a project right now to help empower other Moms around the globe who are less fortunate than we are in supporting their families. I will be charging advertising here on WAHMcafe.com and all the ad revenue that I would have received will be donated to kiva.org. kiva.org is a microfinance company set up to to connect people through lending for the sake of alleviating poverty, and and empowering men and women through the spirit of entrepreneurial and economic independence. Although they help men and women, we here at WAHMcafe will be choosing to empower MOMS only, who own their own business and are striving to make a better life for themselves, their family and community. Throughout the course of the loan (usually 6-12 months), we can receive email journal updates and track repayments. Then, when we get our loan money back, we can re-lend to someone else in need. That is exactly what we at WAHMcafe are going to do. We are going to recycle the loan and choose another Mom! I have even set up a team for WAHMcafe.com, you can check it out HERE. So whatever money is donated by our team, it can be tracked here. You can also contribute personally on behalf of the team. Simply sign up to be on our team and (it's free) and your name will be seen as part of our group of lenders! Isn't that great?

Okay, I will write more about that later, but the 2nd part I wanted to announce is that the author of our press release wants to quote one of our WAHMcafe members about their thoughts on this project and she would like to use your name and will mention your business in the release! Can you say "great exposure?" The choice of person will be most likely depend on their answer and thoughts about the project.

So....having said all that, send me an email at wahmcafe@live.com on your thoughts about this whole project and the name of your business. It should be hearfelt and earnest. I will send all quotes to Denise, our press release author, and she will decide which person and quote she will use. Deadline for this is Thursday, April 2, 2009  at 9:00 PST(pacific standard time).
