Another way to leverage your blogging efforts is to become a "guest blogger." Every time I guest blog it results in a nice boost in traffic that inevitably results in more blogging opportunities and revenue (new advertisers come knocking :)
I don't guest blog nearly as much as I should, which is why I thought I'd post this discussion today to help all of to keep focused on strategies that work!!
Guest blogging is really all about identifying those blogs in your niche that have a large audience, and then getting your message out in front of them so you end up expanding your reach and raising the profile of your business. You're also bringing new, varied and quality content to the publisher's website.
What is really great is that the cost is minimal to nothing. Basically you're looking at your time to research good blogs, contact the blogger and then write an appropriate post. Some of you might even choose to outsource some of this work (which would then introduce some cost).
As we know, advertisements don't even work as effectively as they once did. Depending on the influence of the blogger you're targeting, your guest blog post might be far more effective at sending buyers to your website than a paid advertisement somewhere.
So - who's looking for a guest blogging opportunity and who is looking for guest blogger. Let's try to make some connections right here!

Hi Sharon, this is a great reminder of being 'viral' and how inexpensive and effective it can be. Thanks for the reminder - great post!
