How do I go about finding manufacturers?

I am currently writing a business plan however, the product that I will be selling needs to be manufactured. I am looking for a manufacturer to produce uniquely designed hair rollers for a SMALL business and I have searched the internet non stop. I feel that there is no reason in continuing development of a business plan if I can not find a suitable manufacturer to produce my product. Does anyone know the appropriate avenue to finding such manufacturers? Any information would be helpful. Thank you.
