My name is Yolanda and I want all my friends on BBWO to know what I know about business. First off I am a writer, I self published and made over $1,200 on my novels. it was not much by a long shot but it was fun!! I then develope my website for musicans and Authors. and boy!! was that Hard.my website 222.98spot.com now has over 2000 members and I make about $800 a month. look!! alot of people tell you about fairytales and how much money you could make, I am here to say that it just don't happen like that..
I struggle my ass off to get the money to build this website,no one will give me a loan I work jobs cleaning toliets,and when the site was done I was expecting a big payoff well it never happened. now I am just seeing some kind of cash.and I still have a ways to go.right now 98spot.com has over 2000 members I am trying to make this a huge site like black planet, but it is hard and not easy at all there are so many social websites out there.but thank God i found something that makes a little cash.
I had the same problem with my novel I thought I was going to be the next JK Rowling as far as book sales I got turned down about 150-200 times from major publishers,even here in Chicago,Il I send my manuscript to Johnson Publishings and got turn down.
disappointment is around every corner,once my website www.98spot.com grows a bit more I will be giving away free banner ads here because I know what it is to want to get the word out, if you think I should add something let me know.
I am also coming out with an action rpg game for facebook and my website,so I just want to encourage someone else not to give up on their dreams because with God anything is Possible. I still am not there but I will continued to try.. have a great day
