Math Concentration will host an online math video tutorial contest starting Monday, July 10, 2011. All middle and high school math teachers are invited to participate. Teachers are encouraged to develop an original math video tutorial designed to make math fun and engaging. Math Concentration’s online math video tutorial contest will be an annual competition with winning entries receiving recognition in the community and a $200 Visa gift card.
All contestants will be recognized for their participation. In order to participate in this competition, teachers must register at the website and upload their video(s). The video with the most like’s wins. McDowell says, “More students are connecting online to find free and low-cost resources to help them with their math homework. All videos submitted will be used for this purpose.”
