Professional Black Women have moved from the boardrooms to the chatrooms. Turning hobbies and side-hustles into small business ventures, many women entrepreneurs of color are flocking to the net for their piece of the web pie. They are creating websites, building blogs, and making connections everyday, becoming masters of the worlds they have created. In an effort to combine these worlds and build a stronger sense of community among women entrepreneurs, I created Black Business Women Online.
BBWO is my dream come true. It is a space where I, a black women online can finally connect with other successful, web savvy, motivated black women. Black Business Women Online is a premier social network for Professional Black Women. With over 5,000 members and counting, BBWO is quickly becoming one of the most talked about web spots for Women of Color who are hoping to start a business, promote their business, share their blog, or find quality business services within the Black Business Community. This network is free to join and easy to use. Each member has their own page and blog. They can post video, audio, and photos.
