Hello LaShanda I loved this course! There was so much more information included than I had expected. I learned some really great tips, especially SEO. Since I received your course and implemented the strategies, my social network site jumped from the 8th page on google to the 2nd! ... Thanks for the info, greatly appreciated! Have a great weekend.Tamyka's email reminded me that the old school internet marketing techniques like SEO and Article Marketing are still very much important and in many cases more effective than the twitter marketing and social media marketing the masses are desperate to learn and having a hard time trying to duplicate. Moreover, her email reminded me that my teaching style, my knowledge, what I sell and how I sell it WORKS! It works for me and it works for countless other women entrepreneurs that I teach every day. With opposition and/or personal insecurities it is often so easy to forget your value and forget your mission, but you always have to remind yourself of what works for you. If you are tweeting like crazy but customers can't find you on Google and they don't know who you are, what good is twitter to you? I'll continue to teach newbies the value of SEO, Articles, Writing, Blogging, etc... because I feel those are the marketing strategies that matter the most and work best for me. I'm am the WebTechGurl (lol), so yes I will learn and also teach the value of twitter, social media, etc., but I will also continue to teach the fundamentals. No new technique is more important than having a great product/ service and selling it to people who actually want what you have to sell. Be clear on what your business is and stick to what works for you. Don't get lost envying what other people have or wishing you could do what they do how they do it! (lol). Not to get preachy but let me be real ... I can proudly and in ALL Honesty say that by my standards and my definition I AM A successful work at home mom. I don't charge like the big boys or get much recognition from the 'corporate girls' but at the end of they day I get to run my own business, set my own rules and reach out to women with stories just like mine in the process. SO if your business is BROKE OR if it's okay but NOT YET where you want it to be ... keep in mind that all the Social Media Buzz is not going to magically turn that frown upside down. Only you can do that.... Be open to the new technology YES but also be thankful for what you have accomplished thus far, stick to the strategies that work for you (no matter what other folks say) and just keep going! ... Just a few words I needed to say to myself (but I decided to talk out loud so you could hear this too!) Sometimes the new school needs alittle old school to keep it in check.
