28daysofdiversity During Black History Month, social media expert Wayne Sutton came up with a pretty innovative idea. He launched the website 28 Days of Diversity. His goal was to feature someone new everyday for the month of February for just being awesome in their own right. The list included some of the leaders in the social web space, startups, bloggers, conference organizers, IT professionals and friends not ranked in any particular order. I thought it was a great list, I found some wonderful new women (and men) of color in social media to follow on Twitter @sistasense and @blackbizwomen. It all reminded me of a project that I did a few years ago, Black History Today and Beyond, a collection of videos showcasing black accomplishments and leaders from past to present. There you will also find my Collective Culture Movement, a personal manifesto - Black History Initiative that I wanted to share with other African American viewers online. Whether I'm busy talking business or networking with other black moms, I've always enjoyed developing and sharing positive black content online. I applaud Wayne for the great work he did with the 28 Days of Diversity project! Feel free to leave a comment and share your thoughts on the project or shed light on other diversity projects we all should be taking note of. My current project: 10,000 Black Business Women on Twitter.
