In this age of technology how many start up businesses have the marketing budget to hire a large production company to film a commercial? How many small business owners have the money to put the commercials on television, radio or print ads? I bet a lot of you have photos laying around of your products and services. I bet a lot of you have videos laying around of your last events. Do you put those photos and videos to good use. How many of you actually have your videos or photos on this website, on your page? If you say you do but you don't. Then in 2009 you better start thinking about using videos and photos to advertise and market your products and services. Why have these items collecting dust? Put them to good use.

  • I totally agree with you. People like to see products in use. Also, when you're markerting a product or service you also have to market yourself. People want to know you along with what you have to offer. If you're selling online, the only way people can get to know that your are a sincere person with great customer service is to show them. Emails are helpful, but to take the time to make a quick video means a lot to clients. They see your personality and say, "Hey she seems cool." "Or she's really knows her stuff." The see that you are not a machine cranking out products. Even a quick video uploaded to your website helps. If you don't know what to say, a quick bio of yourself, introduction of your product/service, and thank you will do it. If it's uploaded to youtube you'll get hits from people just searching.

Great post, Eula, thank you for sharing!

    Take care,
