I KNOW WE ARE SEEKING WAYS TO CONNECT WITH ONE ANOTHER BETTER AND SEEK HELP IN A MORE COST-EFFICIENT WAY. THROUGH MY DAILY JOURNEYS I HAVE OBSERVED MANY WOMEN AND MEN ALIKE CARRYING DEPRESSION AS A BURDEN TO BARE ALONG WITH EVERYTHNG ELSE THAT WE HAVE TO ENDURE IN OUR OWN SEPARATE LIVES AND I ASKED MYSELF WHAT IS ROBBING US OF OUR "JOIE DE VIVRE"(JOY OF LIFE), THE LIGHT DOESN'T SHINE AS BRIGHTLY, WE ARE A RESILENT PEOPLE AND HAVE BEEN FOR CENTURIES. PLEASE SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCES AND THOUGHTS AND MAYBE WE CAN HELP EACH OTHER BY LIFTING OURSELVES UP.

  • This is an excellent question! So many of us are suffering from depression, and it really does come from the destruction of our "community".

We lack people to check on us, uplift us, encourage us and cheer us on.

We don't have the security of knowing that if we try and fail, someone will be there to lift us back up, or tell us its ok.

We are missing the elders that we can go to for advice in our relationships, marriages and for childrearing.

We are addicted to urban life and lifestyles while our souls long for the rural land, gardens, farms and spaces that would nourish us.

We push and push trying to survive,so much so that we no longer live and thrive.
