About Me:
The Cafe Mocha Lattes (Ladies' Adventures, Travel, Tours & Entertainment society currently consists of a small group of female members that are committed to planning, participating, and being present at activities and events geard towards women's issues and interests in the African-American community. Although we are a socializing, networking, and traveling group for "all" women, our focus is on the trial and tribulations of women in the African-American community. •PURPOSE: To support community associations and non-profit organizations that focus on African- American women issues and interests. •MISSION: To give back to the community through volunteerism, fund-raising, and organizing and participating in community awareness events in the African-American community. •VISION: To build a social network of strong African-American female leaders; women who are motivated to use their power to leverage social relationships and dismantle issues that affect the health and well-being of women worldwide. •MOTTO: "Women Coming Together to Serve a Purpose!"
