About Me:

I am the CEO / President of Introspect Records, LLC, an independent record label based in Philadelphia, PA. Introspect Records was founded in 2006 and has four official catalog releases to date. I am also a hip-hop recording artist, a poet and a songwriter. My music has an artistic vibe and addresses many issues such as poverty, violence, racism and sexism. On a lighter note, I also make music just because I love connecting words and I love the sound of jazz, rhythm & blues, soul and even rock. My stage name is "Medinah Starr". My music is available on apple i-tunes, amazon.com, cdbaby.com and on the Introspect Records website. I'm currently pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology and I am writing a self-help book on building and maintaining healthy relationships. By many, I am considered a "relationship expert" simply because I study the nature of relationships in relation to one's self-esteem and environment. My background in psychology, marketing and business management helps me to maintain and to be flexible within many roles. I'm truly interested in networking with photographers, artists, writers and like-minded individuals that have a love for the arts and that are driven to make their business a success.
