Hello All, I've recently discovered my calling in life and is striving hard each day to achieve it. I love God and nature. I feel that the answer to all illnesses can be solved thru what has been provided to us by God and taking proper care of our bodies. Medicine is just another form to imitate what the body already does or to make it do what it has stopped doing. Some things are genetics but that shouldn't keep a person bound to think that there's no hope. Treat the body right and it'll love you back. So yes, I'm a naturalist and use Prayer, fruits, veggies, grains, supplements and protiens to heal all minor ailments. I've been natural (hair) for the last 8 years. Through trial and err and many products I've found a regimen that may work for me. I started off because I wanted to have curly styles as well as straight , curious as too my hair texture and I was losing my hair thickness from over processed relaxers. It has been really tough because of the lack of support, media, marketing and finding that product that work wonders and then all of a sudden you can’t find it nowhere on the face of the earth. Over time I've learned through books, word of mouth advice and the media, which is becoming more knowledgeable on the true care of ethnic hair care. Suprisingly, I found that it takes more hard work then being relaxed but I love it. And the biggest tip I can share is... no you can't train your hair. Moisture (water) is our friend and oil is used as a sealant and should be used on the hair not the scalp. Petroleum and mineral oil block pores and don’t allow the scalp to breath. I'm a Massage Therapist, have a B.S. in Human Service and currently pursuing a Doctorial in Nutritional Holistic Health. Many Blessings
