About Me:
After honing my writing skills as a freelance writer and editor for the past eight years, I pride myself in being one part hip-hop, one part old soul but wholly committed to producing well-written articles and content. A proud Lincoln University alumna and Morgan State University grad student, I developed my distinctive writing style and signature flavor as a contributor to national publications and websites like Heart & Soul, Upscale, Uptown, Jewel, clutchmagonline.com and Sister 2 Sister, where I write the monthly “Office with a View” column. I’m also slowly but surely writing my first book. While I’m seeking fame and fortune in the publishing world, I’m the single mother of a fabulous 11-year-old daughter, Skylar, and I’m actively involved in my church and Washington, DC community. I also enjoy roller skating, traveling, reading and am admittedly addicted to wedding shows and crime TV.

Facebooking (I'm addicted!), reading, researching for articles and shopping, of course!
