About Me:
Kim Anthony is the founder and lead facilitator of the Urban Enterprise Network, a mastermind alliance that serves, supports, encourages and empowers emerging entrepreneurs with the resources and connections necessary to achieve extraordinary results their business and in their life. She also serves as the president of the Urban Leadership Network, a social networking organization dedicated to supporting changemakers, community organizers, and social entrepreneurs through projects and programs that engage, support and empower underserved communities. Creator and producer of the Urban Angel Awards, which annually honors excellence in community service, her monthly publication, Urban Leadership Magazine, highlighs community leaders, causes and events, and was the only African-American-owned publication selected to cover the 2004 Nobel Peace Prize ceremonies in Oslo, Norway. As a leading social enterprise advocate, gifted fundraiser and non-profit consultant, she has sourced more than $10 million in funding for worthy causes and social innovation projects. A product of the foster care system, this highly sought-after inspirational speaker used her Ms. California 2001 reign to motivate at-risk-youth and young adults to achieve their highest possibilities. She is the author of "Be The Change: 101 Ways to Use Your Life to Light the World” and in her spare time enjoys travel and humanitarian/philanthropic endeavors.
