About Me:

Since the age 18, I've loved the art of jewelry design, crochet and sewing. I am a self taught artisan designer and loving mother. Reaching into myself to find and embrace my creativity. I started creating jewelry in 2006 as a stress reliever during hard and troubled times. After a while, I learned a few techniques from a from a few good designer friends of mine who helped me unlearn what I have learned, explore new ways of creating and encouraged me to share my craft. I started to create gifts for family and friends. After many compliments, i starting making custom orders ..soon word of mouth spread. In May 2007 I got my feet wet and sold my wears as a vendor in NYC..followed by opening my Etsy shop in June 2007 and now, I am a seller on Silkfair with three consignment contracts and features/blogs on Indiepublic, Ning,Twitter, Myspace, Blogger,Flickr...to name a few:) My mission statement: In today's economy, my mission is to offer affordable quality handmade jewelry, crochet and artisan crafts inspired by many medians, cultures and styles from career conservative to urban chick. Using precious and hypo-allergenic metals, semi-precious stones, polymer, ceramics, lampwork & recycled materials. I desire to share my love for color, uniqueness, quality, artistic expression, and support for the ancient art of handmade craftsmanship.
