About Me:

Remaining Humble has been a unique and transforming force in the world of live, digital and film production since 2005. The vision of Remaining Humble is to enhance and create art that is elegant and incomparable while also picking up the torch of prominent artists to uplift the minds of the younger generation and to empower women. Our central focus is to help change the stereotypes of young people and especially minorities and women in film. We plan to do our part in transposing the negative images perceived of our target groups. We will assist in developing more affirmative, respectful, and credible media images. Remaining Humble strives to tell the stories of the black experience, as well as the plight of women without exploiting the culture and its values. The initial idea of Remaining Humble is rooted in humble beginnings; consequently it is founder, Eliyannah Amirah Yisrael’s vision to continue to remain true to her roots throughout the company’s maturity and growth. She looks forward to influencing young people and helping to transform their lives through film and the development of ideas and concepts they find of high interest. In the near future, there will be separate components of Remaining Humble, including The Remaining Humble Organization, a not-for-profit organization that will utilize traditional and new media to carry out the goals of Remaining Humble through practical application in at-risk areas.
