About Me:
Sheila Weaver, Founder and CEO Ms. Weaver has over 20 years experience in sports, fitness and athletics. Ms. Weaver holds a B.S.E. from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and a M. A. in Health and Physical Education from Kent State, University in Kent, Ohio. A physical education teacher and coach, Ms. Weaver has taught students of all ages from pre-kindergarten through college. Ms. Weaver began her coaching career at the State University of Binghamton in Binghamton, New York where she worked as the Women´s Basketball and Volleyball Coach. Several years, later she was appointed the Coordinator of Women´s Athletics at Union College in Schenectady, New York. She later was employed by the Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC. Ms. Weaver has received numerous local and national awards for her accomplishments as a coach of girl´s volleyball. A former Washington Post Coach of the Year, Ms Weaver has been featured on the cover of the American Volleyball Coaches Magazine and recognized as Private School Coach of the year by the Women's Sports Foundation. During her tenure at Sidwell Friends her 1997 was ranked by USA Today among the top twenty-five teams in the country. Ms. Weaver founded a non profit organization, The Academic and Athletic Alliance in 1993. Ms. Weaver has a created SheLovesSports.com a social network that connects girls and women of all ages together to share, connect and build relationships.

The Southern Entertainment Awards, oringinally out of Nashville, at Harrahs casino in Tunica, Ms. I am nominated this yr. I need everyone support on this voting process.
