About Me:
I'm a young Sista trying to make her make in the Event Design Industry. I'm currently working as an Administrative Assistant. This type of work is not my passion. Designing and Planning Events is where I find the most satisfaction. I'm just starting out, so I can use some tips from other successful black women. I have planned Birthday Parties, Baby Showers, and Valentines Day Event. God has given the gift of creativity and I just want to get tips on marketing and networking to increase my visibilty to consumers.

In Celebration of Women's Heritage Month, ALIVE Magazine is seeking entries for its 2008 Women of the Year Contest. ALIVE Magazine will recognize women of achievement across the nation. In 250 words or less tell us why the nominee should be considered as one of our Women of the Year. Nominees can be of any age as long as she is an aspiring entrepreneur or current business owner.
