About Me:
Empowering Women As we venture into womanhood, we come up against boundaries, struggles, and disappointments. My story isn’t like most but it is like some. I am the mother of two children, a son who is 21 years old and a daughter who is 17 years old. Through my journey as a mother, I had two good high quality jobs, that God decided I no longer needed so they both got taken from me. I in return was given by God the gift of vision and beauty and he placed a camera in my hand and I was led to photography. God has provided for my family and I without a sufficient income. Our needs have been met, we have had food on our table, clothes on our back and a roof over our heads. In my walk with the Lord I have learned to also share what God has done for me. I started The Empowering Women Event, which helps other women share their struggles and their goals as well as the talents and gifts bestowed upon them. The theme for this years event is: Each One - Teach One Empowering Women is a commitment of encouraging, helping, loving, building, struggling and going through a journey. We must find strength, and courage in ourselves, our daughters and one another. So that we may continue to make changes in this world.
