About Me:: Christine Pembleton is a proud wife, mother, Companionship Coach, talk show host, author and speaker. With a sincere desire to encourage and empower women who want fulfillment and happiness in their marriages, she helps people understand who God created them to be through her coaching, speaking and writing.

In 2008, she established the A Word for the Wife in Me (formerly the Christian Wives Club Show), a weekly internet radio show for Christian wives and women desire to be married. The show airs weekly on Blogtalkradio.com.

In June 2009, Christine released her bestselling book, Lord, I'm Ready to Be a Wife, to encourage women to consider why they want to get married, and introduce the basics of being a wife to today's woman.

After the international success of her book, Christine created Ready to Be a Wife™, a marriage preparation company whose purpose is to prepare women for the marriage of their dreams. She conducts teleseminars, workshops and training programs all geared to helping women gain the tools they need to attract and maintain fulfilling relationships and long-lasting marriages.

The oldest of six children, this native of Philadelphia, PA earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Temple University in 2000 and in that same year received the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the African American Chamber of Commerce in Philadelphia.

A project manager in the technology industry, Christine is currently pursuing an MBA in Business Management. She is also a licensed Elder from Temple Elim Prophetic Truth Ministries in Pennsauken, NJ.

Christine's hobbies are gemstone collecting and creating new projects and initiatives. But she most enjoys spending time with her family. Married in 2005, she and her husband Robert reside in Phoenix, AZ with their two daughters.
