Whenever i want to to buy a certain product or require a certain service there are certain providers that immediately come into mind. Even if they do come to mind, i pick up the phone to call some of them; and since i do not want to spend the whole day evaluating different providers, my first call is the one i prefer and willing to settle for if they have what i need. I sat down and started asking myself, why did i call and why am i willing to settle for that provider? I want you to get into the shoes of your customer for a little bit and think about some of the reasons why you would be the one that they call first and are willing to settle for.
There are two simple strategies that will help you become that first call.
