Hi,

 

Does anyone have any experience with Google AdSense? I just added it to my site. I'm looking for feedback on how well (or not) it's worked of others. Any tips, comments, advice is appreciated.

    i think that im doing everything wrong with my google AdSense. I dont know what im doing wrong, my blog is a urban gossip blog but i get every kind of ad under the sun that has nothing to do with my site. i think my main problems is that i dont really understand the channels.

      Thank you! Your articles are always so helpful. I actually made some adjustments to my ads based on some of your suggestions. Hopefully this will prove to be a successful venture.

          I did two things.

          1. My homepage is a blog and I initially had the ads in the lower right underneath the blog categories, which was pretty far down the page. After reading your article I realized most people that visited the site probably would never see them all the way down there.

          2. I blended the adds by changing the font color and getting rid of the border to make them look more like the rest of the content on my page and less like ads. Which made me more comfortable putting them in such a prominent position on the website since they don't look so out of place anymore.

          Any other tips you have would be great! Thanks again for you help.
