TNG YES WE DID! I am grateful that I was able to enjoy history in the making!!! Can you believe that Obama is President and he beat the brakes off of McCain? (LOL!!!!!) I've said this before, but I know that God prepared him for that very moment. His parents met in 1960 while attending the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where his father was a foreign student. Ann Dunham, a white American from Wichita, Kansas & Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a Luo from Nyang’oma Kogelo, Nyanza Province, Kenya, dated and then married in February 1961. Their child, our nations 44th President, was born August 4, 1961. The fact remains that this was pre-destined. Our new President is not just black, he is bi-racial and that alone is revelation within itself. I believe that he was "chosen" as our generations new President to close all of the racial barriers that held America in bondage for so long. And I am so thankful to know that change is coming for sure. However, we still have a lot of work to do in our communites. We as a people that helped him to get here need to do our parts to help him serve. We can't sit back and just think that everything is going to change because he is in the White House. We still have more to do. We as a people will have to help our communities. Stop the hating. Build a future for our youth....He can't do it alone. We have to help him service America. Most of Obama's life was dedicated to service and volunteer efforts. We too must take on that same responsibility. We must also lift him and his family up in prayer. We must continue to ask God to keep him and guide him in this new role. He has a lot work to do! And people please know that it took 8 years to get into this meess, and may take two terms for Obama to get us out of it. It's not going to be easy to just come in and save America. It is going to take every willing parent, activist, business mogul, entrepreneur and even the celebrities to really take our country to that Level. We have more work to do!
