About Me:
Hello Queens and Pharoahs! AFROTHYCK™ is a new black owned clothing line created by Mieshia DuBose. AFROTHYCK™ is a lifestyle of looking within yourself to find a deeper love of the skin you're in.... I constantly go to the gym or out & about, and see women wearing the Victoria's Secret pants with the word PINK plastered on it. Also where I live in south florida a lot of hispanics even have their own activewear. So I thought to myself why not black people? why not a black woman? why not ME? I've always wanted to see my name on a clothing label since I was 11 years old. I've built an 11 year fashion career through fashion education in college and retail management @ the trendiest stores. So I became inspired! I wanted to do clothing that represents pride in my heritage, my skin color, my curves, my fashion, and my lifestyle WHICH IS AFROTHYCK™ because that's how I dress it! I'm mostly doing t-shirts and activewear right now for the renaissance woman, man, and "THYCKER THAN YOUR AVERAGE". Come join WNBA Legend Kym Hampton at a glorious day of female networking. Hear powerful words of wisdom and sisterly advice from the Executive Director of the Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now Inc. (FFAWN). Enjoy a spirited basketball game and cheer on the NY Liberty.
