  • Hi Beth,

My name is Anik Brown and I am the organizer of a new meet up group in Dallas, TX called The DFW SistaPrenuers Business Network.  I took a look at your profile and I think you would make a fantastic SistaPrenuer.  Our group is about edifying entrepreneurial minded woman in the DFW area.  Sharing ideas and knowledge to help each other grow our businesses and balance being mothers and wives with being driven career woman.  Our first meet up is scheduled for March 2011 and I plan to aggressively grow the group between now and then.

We are brand new and still in the process of adding content.

Feel free to take a look at the site http://www.meetup.com/The-DFW-SistaPrenuers-Network/

I look forward to meeting you at the next Meetup.

    Sincerely,

    Anik Brown

  • Hi Beth,

Welcome to this wonderful site. I pray all is well with your home after hurricane Ike. I also hope you enjoy your networking experience.

Please check out this month issue of The Adventist Times www.theadventisttimes.com/.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month www.nationalbreastcancer.org/default.aspx

Do use the month of September to find a way to support the Breast Cancer Movement, even if it's just to increase your knowledge.

View the Breast Cancer articles and video segments. Encourage your loved ones to schedule their mammograms for October, and remember to do Self -Examinations. Early detection is key!

Breast Cancer is not just a woman's disease; men should examine their breasts as well.

I've received TONS of requests to re-play the interview with David and Tamela Mann. She's so pretty!
    Well here it is...ENJOY!
  • GREAT!! I have to get out to your studio soon! When are you having another showing? Please feel free to upload some pics of your art on the NBWEN site. I would love to feature it. And any events you have, feel free to post them and I'll make sure to feature!

    Blessings always,
    Shell
  • Hey Beth!! How are you?

Sorry for the delayed response. My kids had a wonderful experience at FCA. Of course, I used to work there, too! But I haven't been there since 2005 and I'm not sure who all is still there.

My son was there since he was 18 months through Kinder. He had a good foundation that helps him now, especially with his reading level. He's in 3rd grade now but he reads on 4th almost 5th grade level! My daughter is a freshman and she was well above average in reading on her TAKS as well.
