About Me:
I grew up Florida possess a B.S. in Business Economics and am currently completing my Masters of International Business. I’m the first African-American Bikini Professional Athlete and the first to get invited to and compete in both the Olympia and Arnold Schwarzenegger Bikini International. I’m a cover model and have been acknowledged in many fitness magazines and my goals are to continue to develop my brand and to continue to be an inspiring trailblazer for women of color. I have been around the fitness industry since childhood but have been actively competing for almost 10 years. Based upon my own experiences I noticed a lack of representation of women of color, specifically black women being marketed in the fitness industry despite our successes and I wanted to do my best to change that. Using my platform as the first African-American Bikini Professional I developed a blog called Bikinibellas.com targeted toward black women regarding health &fitness, nutrition, fashion and competition tips.I also launched my own business CMG Fitness LLC, in which I consult, educate and train women on weight-loss and nutrition. I also do motivational speaking engagements geared toward women of color to help promote healthier lifestyles. This is just the beginning and I’m working on more ways to continue to empower and inspire women of color like myself.
